Whilst learning how to play the piano or keyboard, one formula we hear again and again is "practice slowly".Generally, this leads to inhibition, which in turn can lead to tedium. Imagine sitting down and experiencing excitement over the fact that you are taking beginner piano lessons.
Therefore, maybe we need to modify the formula from "practice slowly" to "practice rapidly if you wish to learn how to play piano songs fast". Don't forget, however, that the slow practice is what helps our fingers to know where to go, and makes playing much easier in the long run. But, in order to make music, we need to practice at a tempo that'll increment our relationships with music.
Work on the next four or even eight measures at your next sitting. Combine it with the previous one when you've got that section brought up to a faster tempo.
